Pioneers in sustainable investment, PC30 has been a signatory of PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) since 2008 (the year in which Spanish signatories were registered for the first time). Already in 2019, PC30 received the highest rating for strategy and governance from the rating agency, and this year it has once again achieved this rating (A+).
The fund plans to go further in its sustainable investment policy through the implementation this year of targets associated with carbon footprint metrics, ESG (environmental, social and governance) policies and engagement processes with managers and companies to improve in these areas.
PRI is an international network of investors that promotes responsible investment among asset holders and asset managers in order to improve returns and risk management associated with ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors. It is a non-profit organisation supported by the United Nations.
